Boylan 9-9, Rock Island 6-16 --
Rocky scored in bunches in a
double-header split with Boylan. After plating five runs in the fifth, RI trailed 6-5
heading into the bottom of the last frame. They managed a tie, but gave up three more
Boylan runs in the top of the eighth. RI's bats exploded for 10 runs in game two's first
inning and the Rocks led the rest of the way. Every RI player in the lineup dropped in a
hit in game two. |
