Rock Island benefited from nine walks and three hit-batsmen in blasting Sterling in a
game shortened by the 10-run mercy rule. JJ Vandygriff and Mike DeWitte each had a pair of
hits, both with doubles, with DeWitte driving in three runs. Drew Davis blasted a home run
for the Rocks. |
