- Brad Pannell is a sophomore who is as gifted as any of the past players that have played
for Rock Island, he is 6'0" weighing in at 185 pound.
- He pitched for the sophomore team last season and had some very impressive wins for the
Pebbles.
- As a freshman his fastball was clocked at 83-84 mph, he pitched for the Red Sox last
summer which helped his development on the mound.
- He could also be one of the premiere hitters in Western Illinois. He is working on being
more disciplined at the plate and on the mound and could be one of Rock Island's best by
the time he is a senior.
- Brad will definitely help the Rocks this spring either by his outfield play or on the
mound. His determination and commitment must stay positive in order for us to have success
this spring.
- Brad is also a 2-sport athlete, playing football last fall on the varsity as a
sophomore.
