• David is a Junior outfielder who as a sophomore last year played many games for Coach Gray and worked hard to have success at the sophomore level.
• David has spent many hours in the weight room and his hard work shows, He will be working for a starting position in the outfield this year.
• He had a very good summer while playing for the Red Sox last summer, which has helped him prepare for this season.
• David could really make a big difference in our team the next 2 years with his excellent outfield defense.
• He is also a 2-sport player who plays for the Rock Island High School Golf Team.

DAVID DOUGHTY - After high school, I plan to attend the University of Iowa and major in something to do with law or sports medicine. After college, I hope to get rich, move to Colorado, and play lots of golf.
