Ed Saldana pitches a one-hit shutout against the Rockridge Rockets, while the Rocks offense scored 14 times enroute to a 14-0 win.   Saldana was in top form as the Rock Island High School Senior right hander kept the Rockets off balance all afternoon.  The Rocks defense, along with a great offensive effort subdued the Rockets in six innings at Rockridge Field.

 

Winning Pitcher - Ed Saldana.  Losing Pitcher - Jason Lincoln.

Two or more hits - Rock Island:  Nick Carmack 2, Jake Vroman 2, Jacob Meisenbach 2, Jason Amble 2, Marcus Youngquist 2.
