Rock Island 13-15, Freeport 3-8:Rock Island slugged its way to a doubleheader sweep of Freeport, thanks, in part, to Dan Morrison, who led Rocky with six RBIs on the day.

In game one, Rocky got a strong pitching effort from Clayton George (2-0), and two RBIs from Morrison and Jim Wignall and three RBIs from George and Jacob Meisenbach.

In game two, Justin DeGeeter was the beneficiary of a strong Rocky offense, picking up his second win of the year. Morrison again led the attack with four RBIs. Brady Wischnack chipped in with a pair.
